Dear All,
We had a short but very enjoyable 10 days in SL in January this year, and were fortunate enough to have met up with Nimmi, Lal, and some of our batchmates at OT's party in his absolutely gorgeous Bolgoda Lake, Dream Home - something that could have very well been featured on the cover page of "Architectural Digest".
We spent most of our time in Galle Fort at Jiff's mahagedara and were able to catch the Galle Literary Festival with Nimmi, Lal, Aunty Thilaka (Nimmi's Ammi) and Balaya's daughter.
The highlight of our trip was of course the Padura Party at OT's, with several of our batchmates providing entertainment with the band that Mehendra had organized for the day, followed by a delicious catered meal. It was great to see faces from our medical school days and certainly brought back many fond memories, some "adult only" and censored memories too. (Naturally expected when Ambaya, Balaya and Mehandra get going)
Lal provided the photo coverage and several photos have been submitted to Kumara for uploading and posting......so, keep checking back.
Getting on to the more important update.
Please mark your calendars and apply for leave, make your bookings at the Tangerine Hotel and please plan to attend our 30th REUNION. Seneth has done a marvelous job of securing the Tangerine Hotel and has organized an extensive buffet lunch and entertainment and it is going to be an unforgettable event, BUT, we need you to attend to make it a success!!
